Community of the Savior

A worship gathering of New Hope Free Methodist Church

Community of the Savior seeks to take a fresh look at what it means to be the church. We are ancient and contemporary, firmly rooted in the past and creatively responsive to the needs of the present world.

About us

Community of the Savior is a new worshiping community in the heart of the city of Rochester. We are a gathering of people who yearn to drink deeply from the rich diversity of various streams of historic faith. We are deeply committed to the good news of the Christian gospel. We seek to live as a community nurtured by the rhythms of the Christian year. We care about social justice.

Please take a look at our core affirmations. If you find yourself drawn to what you see, let that be your cordial invitation to visit Community of the Savior!
